KORRISA Dobi Shoulder Tote
The KORISSA Dobi Shoulder Tote is the perfect bag for a day at the beach, a shopping trip or your next flight. KORISSA provides unique & purposeful handmade goods that are socially and environmentally responsible. This oversized bag has a 100% cotton lining with pockets to hold your cell phone & sunglasses. Sustainably handwoven by Fair Trade artisans in Bangladesh.
Approximately 15.5” tall with a 13.5” round bottom.
Due to the handcrafted nature, slight variation will occur in design, color and size. Bag may be steamed or ironed to remove wrinkles or pleats.
Wipe clean with a damp cloth, do not rub stains or spills from your bag as this may spread the stain and loosen the fibers.
Be sure to dry properly after water damage.
Jute fabric color can change and fade over time.
When you are done with the bag, donate if it's still in usable condition, if not follow these steps: Simply cut out the 100% cotton liner and cut into very small pieces, add to your compost pile (put in pick-up compost bin) or bury in your flower bed or garden. The pieces will help the soil maintain water and will biodegrade in 1 week to 5 months (depending on the size of the pieces). Add the jute bag to your compost pile or bury in your flowerbed or garden as it too will biodegrade in 1 to two years. Not into composting? Simply drop that jute bag into your recycle bin.
Loom.ist Turkish Towel
Toss this stunning 100% Turkish cotton towel in your tote as you head out for a day at the beach, pool, or a weekend trip. You’ll love the absorbency of this thin towel. The practical nature of the fabric allows it to dry both you and itself quickly. The silky, soft-touch of this lightweight towel is fabulous as a beach towel (does not hold sand), scarf, or sarong. Super portable, and the favorite carry-on of travelers.
Following a 150 year-old tradition, OEKO-TEX® certified fabric is free from harmful chemicals, washed in the Black Sea and dried on the quartz sand beach with hand-tied fringe. The Loom.ist collection is ethically conscious with production processes that ensure the utmost care and sustainable practices.
Turkish towels are different than cotton towels, but their care is simple. Follow these steps to keep your towel looking and feeling amazing.
Wash the Turkish towel before using. Pre-washing will create the most absorbency. For best results, soak the towel in cool water overnight. This will help the towel become more absorbent.
Use a gentle cycle on your washing machine and low heat on the dryer. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets, wool dryer balls are the best option. And of course, avoid bleach!
Turkish towels air dry very quickly, so hang them to dry, which is always best for the planet.

Handmade Seed Embedded Paper
The paper used to display the QR Code is handmade in Nepal by rural craftspeople in an environmentally friendly process with 50% recycled content. The raw material in this paper is the Daphne bush. It is farmed and harvested from 3-4 year old plants that are cut and stripped of bark. The plant is not destroyed when cut down and it regenerates from the root. The cane like stick, once the bark is removed, is dried and used to heat the villager's homes, as fuel for cooking and in the production of this paper. All water used in the paper production is reclaimed and reused. The bark is beaten by hand, boiled into pulp, mixed with recycled pulp & paper scrap collected from the card and envelope manufacturing process) then pored into screens to form sheets. The sheets are then dried in the sun. The entire process is earth friendly and provides a community with a healthy enterprise.
You can choose to recycle this paper, compost it, or even plant it and watch flowers bloom. Each sheet is embedded with seeds that will grow in North America. Seeds in the paper include 10 annual and perennial species which tolerate partial shade, need 4 hours a day of direct sunlight, and grow to about 3 feet. Seeds include Snapdragon, Petunia, Beardtounge, Daisy, Thyme, Poppy, Foxglove, Catchfly, Maiden Pinks, Chamomile. If you plant this paper in a pot or in your garden please cover with 1/8" of soil to keep it moist until established; as germinating seeds and seedlings cannot survive even a brief drought.
Made in Nepal Printed on Recycled Paper
Our Box is a Boox
Booxes are made from corrugated polypropylene sheets, using a patent-pending design. Produced in the US from a combination of new and post-consumer polypropylene (#5 on the recycled plastics chart – PCR). Boox has a goal to improve the post-consumer percentage over time, eventually getting to 100% PCR. They are also experimenting with material made from ocean plastics and other sources. Boox chose polypropylene (PP) for a variety of reasons— It’s waterproof, tear-proof, and lighter than cardboard, while still being rigid and durable enough to protect products during shipping. That means each Boox box can be reused many times before reaching the end of life. But, at end of life, PP can be processed back into more Booxes efficiently. Many people think of plastics as detrimental to the environment. Boox would like to encourage people to think differently about it— SINGLE-USE plastics (but really any single-use product) are bad for the environment and can end up in rivers and oceans where they don’t degrade for a long time. But, that same longevity can be put to great use if we can change the culture of consumption and shift towards the circular economy.
Scan the QR Code on the Boox to return it so it can be used again and again and again and again ...
